A local joint with great food and portions. I enjoyed the passion juice a lot. Try the coconut prawn curry or the pilau. Actually lots to choose from.
I love Swahili Cafe! The food and service are wonderful, especially considering their low prices. I’ve come for breakfast, lunch and dinner and each time I’m very satisfied. It’s a very local place, very humble and low-key but it’s exactly the kind of eating experience I enjoy. Highly recommended!
Really good food and cheap! I loved the octopus stew, more especially. They have good fresh juice also. It's a owner from Lamu. No alcool there. the place is a cosy local place in Timboni.
We went to eat there for lunch with some friends, following their suggestion. We had some pilau and ugali na samaki, everything was cooked so well and was so tasty. The man taking the order was so kind and friendly, for sure I will go back there. Thank you again
My family and I visited Swahili Cafe and were impressed how delicious the food was. We had breakfast and it was amazing. Fresh and tasty. We ended up going back for dinner and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for delicious, affordable meal...look no further! Definitely a must try! They also had a few super cute fur babies around that are very friendly. 10/10 recommend this place!
Adil, the owner is so kind! He offered us some samosa which we didn’t order and they were delicious. We had vegetable curry with coconut rice and grilled chicken with naan and fresh salad. Both very tasty and good portions! Definitely recommend
If you need a break from the Italian cuisine, this place is great. Beans and 2 Chapati, 70 KES. Not just great if you're on a budget.
